We are looking into it.
I was able to read it when I hit quote but not before. I think if you hit edit you will see it there in full.
Working on it.

From Seattle to Lakewood
Jim
My wife and I lived in Seattle for about 5 years before returning home to Ohio. We frequented Fremont. The coffee shops, microbrews, and art was so eccentric, unique and fun compared to anything we'd experienced in our young lives in Cleveland suburbs.
The Solstice parade is an event to experience and I'm told its much like the Circle Parade or whatever it's called.
As for the fun part: I think Lakewood needs more of this. There is so much artistic talent in our community it seems like a bit of organizing is all it takes to get us somewhere. LO is evidence of this.
How about a wonderful mural on the west side of the Detroit theater building. Right now the wall is a giant black canvas. Every open wall in Lakewood should be considered. Let's adorn our city with art. Community sculpture is also cool.
The first time I saw the troll I thought - this is a cool place to be. IF the powers that be allowed the troll to exist what's to stop our own gnome, troll, or fanciful being from popping up.
I'm all for it!

Good idea. Public art, flowers, flags, festivals all liven up a community. Most American cities forget the beauty.
Perhaps someone can convince the Beck Center for the Cultural Arts to lose the "Arbeit Macht Frei" look and jazz up its exterior.
