Obama admits truth

Post by ryan costa »

Obama observes many small town and old city Americans are "bitter". His mistake was simply admitting it. He could have not admitted it, and simply exploited it. Like Ronald Reagan.

The Reagan team played Born in the USA(it had a powerful melody and refrain). He spoke out against "welfare queens" and trash talked the biggest enemy that wouldn't really do anything: the Soviets. After winning each election he went on to raise taxes for the majority of Americans. Mergers and Acquisitions closed down more plants and liquidated more assets faster than the Soviets could liquidate kulaks. That is ok: it was for "deregulation" or something. Modest-sized retail chains knocked themselves out trying to buy each other out with leverage. The Savings and loan managers were suckered into cannibalize the savings and loan industry to produce wall street billionaires. Professional wrestling became more popular.

The National Rifle Agency is guilty of not promoting gun safety enough. They are guilty of not voicing an ideological(though not legal) opposition to Thugs, idiots, and cretins having guns. which usually already have guns illegally anyways. The various anti-gun lobbyists are guilty of not calling people thugs, idiots, or cretins: it is easier to pass more gun laws. This is a polarizing issue that corrals voters into two large blocks.

School prayer is a hot issue! What can you pray for in school? You can pray to do well on a test, or that your team beats the other schools team. But that can only go so far. What if the other team is praying that you do poorly on a test, or that your team does not win? Then you will have to pray twice as hard. You can pray to not be shot in school: it is a prayer that will be granted 99.9999999999999999999% of the time.

The Atheist left will nitpick all demonstrations of faith in public places. The Atheist Right is too busy making money or studying to nitpick all demonstrations of faith. So is the Pagan right.

As long as there are guns, the individual that wants a gun for a crime is going to have one and going to get it. The only person who’s going to be penalized and have difficulty is the law-abiding citizen, who then cannot have [it] if he wants protection -- the protection of a weapon in his home.

"I am amused about this notion of elitist, given that when you're raised by a single mom, when you were on food stamps for a while when you were growing up, you went to school on scholarship," he told a town hall meeting of U.S. military veterans in western Pennsylvania.

golden

hopefully the NRA will do even more to promote gun safety!

Reagan should have had so enlightened a reasoning ability for drugs and alcohol. He conveniently did not. We need the drinking age to be 21 because there are few bars within walking distance. Most teen guys drive very dangerously even when they are sober.

Liberals don't promote getting rid of cars when teenagers steal one and crash it while racing away from the police.

During the 80s pension funds were raided all over town. The pension funds were sewn into golden parachutes for the select few. That is why the select few need skyscrapers. Jumping off a shorter building won't activate the golden parachute. You gotta jump from a high sky scraper to drift far from the wreckage below.

The news says McCain is going after the Reagan Democrats. Guys with Union or technical jobs who haven't lost their pensions yet.
