They're not serious Bryan.
They're actually throwing it back at the fact that the republicans are spinning their wheels to get Obama out because they think he can beat Hillary - that's why all money is being thrown at discrediting Obama.
It's all gotten ludicrous and that's the joke.
But of course I lack credibility.

environment
My impression of McCain is that he isn't too sharp on domestic issues and will try to pick fights with a lot of other countries.

Hi,
John McCain is a hero. We should remember and applaud him for all he has done. But his reward should not be a term as President.
Does this look like a guy ready to lead America?

See article in Boston Globe: http://www.boston.com/news/world/articl ... _massacre/
P.S. My question is in reference to the person on the left, not the one on the right. The guy on the right looks like he can defend America.

Hi,
No. But, I'd never go on a PR roadshow in the middle of a War zone and add my safety to the burdens of our troops either.
I have not ever crashed a plane. Or two or three or four or ..... Perhaps if I had crashed so many planes I would be afraid to fly.
I would never suggest we stay in Iraq for a 100 years.
I would never suggest bombing a country for no reason. (Google McCain singing Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran).
I have never been a soldier in a war. I think if I had I would be more opposed to them than I am now.
War is not the answer.

Hi,
Too many.
But I think McCain was the only one that tried to fool America by showing how safe it was to go shopping in Baghdad while hundreds if not thousands protected him just outside of the camera frame. Remember that trip?
This trip he tried to link Iran with the Evil Doers. Funny 2 countries that probably had/has the least to do with that group was Iraq then and Iran now.

visiting war zones
Many of our politicians like to visit Afghanistan. It is where Osama Bin Laden trained his Al Queda forces. The Al Queda forces were mostly made up of Saudis and people from smaller nations south of Saudi Arabia that are our Strong Allies. Al Queda was not an active presence in Iraq until after George declared Victory.
Iraq was the place where women could take ballet lessons and be doctors and lawyers. The men could shave their beards and drink wine. the prime minister was a chaldean catholic. George and Dick launched a hobby war against Iraq. They were willing to sacrifice American lives and about half a trillion dollars so far. a few hundred thousand Iraqis have also died. but the survivors can check off ballot boxes a few times a year. If they are like me they read the names on the ballot and say, "these people are all assholes"
billions of dollars in air craft carriers and jet fighter craft are not recognized as weapons of mass destruction. the process of inflicting mass destruction is less important than a few nouns classified as weapons of mass destruction. it makes perfect legal sense, if not any rational sense. Maybe it will work out. Maybe it is just practice for intervening in future civil wars in massively overpopulated places like Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
I guess it is ok. We've got a few hundred thousand troops in Cuba, korea, japan, pacifica, and latin america that aren't really needed there any longer. And even Osama Bin Laden is on record as saying he is perfectly ok with arabs selling oil to the west in the marketplace. He'd probably rake us over the coals less than our own commodities traders do trading oil units back and forth to each other.
My brother and a bunch of my cousins were Marines and did time in Iraq. They're good guys, and I respect them. They haven't seemed particulary idealistic about it since then. like many rust belt kids whose parents didn't graduate college, joining the Marines was something cool and challenging to do after playing a few sports in high school and working retail for a while.
