Buckley died yesterday. I always used his arguments as a test of my stands.
As a writer (which I am trying to be) I was enthralled with his books.
Many years ago, I thought if I could be brought back again, I'd like to be a liberal William F. Buckley.
For a conservative, I thought he was UBER COOL.

The man wrote some amazing books on sailing. His words painted a picture of the beauty of ocean sailing that to this day can create a massive case of wanderlust for me.

I agree. Not sure what he may have thought of your liberal incarnation part, but he was wise enough to know the difference and not care.
