The Recession is Official

Post by sharon kinsella »

As I've said before on this board and will say again, we are in a recession. For those few skeptics left, CNN.com pronounced the body dead today, it is our economy and she was a good one while she lasted.

Yep, it's glad they finally admitted it. :)

I read an interesting article awhile back talking about how normally by the time economists announce a recession, it had already started one to two quarters previous.

So now the only question is how bad will it get and how long will it last?

Now I am not a economical genius or even close, but how bad is this "recession"? From what I can gather from various media sources, everything in our economy was over-inflated in the first place so we are simply normalizing to a level that is true.
