Are there red dogs in real life? There are drawings of Clifford, and red dog beer. I have never seen red dogs in real life. Some of them are orange or dark yellow. No reds though. Are they real?

Dear Mr. Costa,
You may be genetically pre-disposed to lack the proper density of rods and cones to correctly identify colors.
Add to that the fact that one person's red may be another's burnt sienna.

This dog is known as "Clifford the big red dog" http://setters-l.com/library/StabyJoanC ... x4inch.jpg
and yet might be more accurately described as mahogany...
What colors can be defined as red? Is red an umbrella?
To get hair the same color as Clifford's I assume one would need to buy "product" and administer it to follicles.

eh
I suspect these dogs only live in Europe or Canada. I have never seen them in America. They are exotic.
