Fire Station to close????? Question for ED

Post by Stacey Sponsler »

Hello,

I would just like to know if you become Mayor are you closing the firehouse down on Clifton? I don't want to hear that it was in Demro's plan.
Really it's a simple yes or no.

Thank you!

No. The mayor's campaign is going into overdrive to spread rumors that I am slashing all kinds of services in basically every department. Alternatively, they are now claiming I will be introducing new services and spending millions of dollars.

Stay tuned for two more weeks of constant rumors and mudslinging.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I appreciate it. Sorry for the mudslinging. My daughter who goes to the High School was very impressed with your debate there. She shared a lot with us. So thank you for doing that as well.

Have a good day...

Ed,

That was the wrong answer. You know we need to close that station. The fire chief even recommended it as a potential way to save dollars. There is no need to perpetuate the Tammany Hall type government policies of the George Administration.

OK, lets recap:

Demro implies Fitzgerald will run a Tammany Hall type city government. Is that right?

Is Fitzgerald fudging on his statements already?
