Tribe Time--is this "next year"?
Indians Apathy has ruled the summer. However, the team is finally getting a little bit of attention now that they're in the playoffs.
How will they do?
How will they do?

One down.....10 to go.
The media coverage was SOOO irritating. No credit given to the Tribe (at least not until the bottom of the 5th, then it was only luck)....
Really got tired of hearing the about the Yankees like the second coming. And it wasn't just my perception. Yankee fans who I talked with during the game acknowledged the obvious bias.
While the National media doesn't want to see a Rockies/Indians series, for rating and ad revenue purposes, it would be nice if the coverage wasn't so blatantly one-sided. After all, we're in this thing because we had the best record in baseball (tie), not because of a charity hand out.
Let's make it two tonight!

A 12-3 loss has to be absolutely humiliating for a smug team like the Yankees. Definitely sets the tone for the rest of the series.

You would think so.....
But according to the team covering the game, the experience of the Yankees will allow them to let this defeat roll off....no effect whatever.
But it was sure nice to see the look of shock on Jeter's face as he sat in the dugout....

The BETTER look that was nice to see was when Jeter almost sat on the plate. His strike out courtesy of a smoking pitch by Sabathia spun Jeter nearly 360 and almost sat him down. His stare back at Sabathia on the way back to the dugout was priceless.
That was a really fun game last night. I missed the last half of it due to kid's needs but I saw most of the good stuff. Wonderful game.
On a side note, it was fun to see the announcer interviewing Lebron call him out as a potential fairweather fan!

Naw...LeBron won't change his hat...that is unless or until the Yankees are out altogether. Is that possible?
Speaking of hats...who's that guy behind home plate that changes his hat every inning. I like to watch just to see that!
I agree with Jeff. Just another example of what money can buy....certainly attention is top on the list.
