Spoken like a true label shill. The internet has clearly saved music from the Clear Channeling of pre-selected "hits" that we have to contend with, whether the music is good or not.

The article is correct about the Arctic Monkeys. They are fantastic and if I wasn't trolling the internet for new music, I never would have heard them on the likes of local radio. Sir Elton needs to worry more about writing good, new music and not finding more ways to re-write lyrics to "Candle in the Wind."

That said, his work with the Scissor Sisters on their song "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" was phenomenal. He needs to get back to his roots more and stop thinking like a record company.

Yeesh.
