A US cat that is reportedly able to sense when a nursing home's residents are about to die is baffling doctors. Oscar has a habit of curling up next to patients at the home in Providence, Rhode Island, in their final hours.

I read that story this morning. I had wondered if the patients he visited were aware of his special powers, but then I read they weren't aware he was there because they were so ill. However, I'm sure the other patients freak if they see him coming!!
