The gala had electrifying energy at the library! It was fabulous and the library is truly awesome! Everyone was so happy and regardless of political opinions, all came together to celebrate a jaw-dropping library! The love for Lakewood in an event like that is so contagious I wish every resident could have felt it!
Kudos to everyone involved in that! Great job! And yes David we caught you taking a break! Great Merlot from Rozis!
Oh and I have to admit I was admiring the dresses almost as much as the art! Every woman there looked beautiful!

Mary,
I really have been in a caveman mode lately. Ruthy made me clean up for this event.

Jim,
Alas. I even had to wear socks.

I too have started to post my photos.
The Lakewood Observer's Logic Master Gordon Brumm welcomes me in with a toast.
For some reason they look like a guy drinking scotch all night took them not looking through the view finder.
Go figure!

David, Ivor, Rhonda and Jim. thank you for posting such great pictures - it gave an excellent view of the both the building and the event. I was so sorry that we couldn't make it - but the family that went in our place loved it.
What surprised me from the pictures is not how large the spaces were or the incredible light - that I kind of expected from the blueprints. What blew me away were the colors. Absolutely spectacular from the pictures!
I can hardly wait until it opens.
