LEAF Gallery -- call to artists

Post by michael gill »

Hello Lakewood Artists.

This is to tell you about an opportunity to show your work in front of our spectacular new library. In brief: The LEAF community wants you to show your work at LEAF Gallery.
LEAF Gallery is:
*a portable art gallery that will appear during LEAF Community nights in front of the Lakewood Public Library.
* An outdoor gallery under a 10X10 tarp
* open to visitors to the LEAF Community’s weekly market extra-vaganza, which means 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday Nights, starting July 12.
* A coordinated DIY thing
* A chance to show your work to anyone who might wander in.
* Free

To show your work at Leaf Gallery, contact Michael Gill: MJG44070@yahoo.com

In conjunction with independent galleries: Local Girl * The Pop Shop * Wobblefoot

Rob

It is possible but only by a member of the LEAF Community. Only members can see and access it.

Ok, Jim. Thanks for the reply.

Michael, could you post this to the CSA or general announcement section of the LEAF board? Also, I will alert Annie of your call for artists as I know she is putting together an email to members and a flyer for the rest of Lakewood.

Oh, and if you are interested in Community Supported Agriculture, community gardening in Lakewood and local food in general-- join the Lakewood Earth and Food Community section of the Observation Deck!

Thanks,
-Rob

Thanks, everyone, for your interest.

Thanks, Jim, for pushing the buttons to enable me to post the LEAF gallery announcement with other LEAF community news.

Yes to Photography, Jim. I'd like to have a range of "hangable" media represented, including photos.

So send me e-mail, and pictures of your art. I'll sign you up for a LEAF date
