What's the best way to sell event tickets?

Post by dl meckes »

We have 4 tickets to the Women's Final Four game on Tuesday and we can't go. People who were going to buy the tickets fell out at the last minute.

If you were us, what would you do? And I don't want to go down to the Q and stand around and try and sell them on the street.

The tickets are in the "nosebleed" seats.

Any suggestions?

stubhub.com is the best place to buy or sell tickets

However, this is very late notice.

How much are they? You may find a buyer right here on the deck!

Run a 24 hour ebay auction. It would probably be possible to email the tickets to the winner through one of the services, or the one through which you purchesed them.

At this late date, we'd probably need to do a "will call" pick-up...

Ebay has a few tickets available for local pick-up and I did look at stubhub, but it's so late...

you could try craigslist

http://cleveland.craigslist.org/tix/

Another option similar to standing in the rain trying to sell the ticket would be finding one of the professional ticket scalpers and selling it to them, then let them stand in the rain to try to sell it. They typically hover in front of the glass front of the parking garage ("North Garage?"), as police/security keep them from coming inside the garage.

Call the recreation department and give them to members of the Lakewood High Girls Basketball team.
