Beck Center new ceo

Post by DougHuntingdon »

I am not trying to disparage anyone...but funny how they did a nationwide search and ended up choosing someone who was already on their board.

So you look the world over and find someone right under your nose? I'm thrilled that a Lakewood resident, who has children attending the public schools, is the new ceo.

Doug

Instead of quoting, the Sun, you should have gone to the paper that broke the story first.

The Observer.

Sun link removed. See page 18 of the Lakewood Observer:

Kate I just hope they did not spend a million dollars doing a national search first before realizing the person literally sitting beside them at the table would be a good CEO. That would be another milllion dollars they wouldn't have to fundraise.

Doug

It was very tongue in cheek.

Doug, I understand your point, but another way of looking at this is that Beck could look far and wide and not find anyone more qualified for the job than Cindy Einhouse. If they didn't consider others, there might be lingering doubts that they had somehow settled, or that there was a sweetheart deal because she was a board member, etc.

Hiring Einhouse is a smart step in the right direction.

Congratulation to Cindy! I am so thrilled that a local got the job. She has the experience and I am confident she will do well. Congrats Cindy!
