Snow photos

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Couldn't sleep last night, so was out taking photos. Posted many to my photo blog, more coming.

But I think this captures the feeling.

I posted a snow day blog also. Suzie and I are going to take the kids out later and I'll post more photos of them. While I certainly don't want to drive today, I can't wait to play outside. I had fun taking photos this morning while still in my PJ's. I couldn't believe how dead Madison was at 9 am. Everyone have fun today and if you have to drive anywhere be safe.

While I was out this morning I asked a officer this very question. She said they were first trying to contact the owners and give them the chance to move the cars. She said they would then be ticketed and/or towed. One guy came out and said please tow it.

Of course I am. Snow days are meant for the parents, right?! I hope that these are the days my children remember when they are older. I will also admit that it was fun walking down Madison this morning. How often do you get to walk in street and talk to so many neighbors? I think these kind of days really do bring communities together.
