ski day

Post by ryan costa »

Do any of you enjoy cross country skiing?

I've only seen it happen once. It looked weird. I imagine the Aztecs felt the same the first time they saw men on horseback.

Ryan

Used to Cross Country Ski all the time. There is a great story floating around about me, some Geiger's Skis, a bottle of B & B, and some pain killers, cross country skiing from the Blind Lemon(now Hi-Fi) down Hird, East on Clifton, then down the closed Shoreway all the way past W45th Street. Some claim, I nearly died at Edgewater Park on the way back.(Do not try this at home)

Do not believe it.

Just because I lost my skis and shoes at Edgewater Park and walked home in wool socks to my apartment at 4:00am, does not mean I almost died.

Snow is too deep for cross country.
