Words and Photos

Submit words and/or photos and receive a chance to win an iPod 80GB, 30 GB, or Shuffle, dinner and more.

Residents are encouraged to submit a story of up to 500 words and/or photos (through the Member Center at http://www.lakewoodobserver.com/members and receive a chance to win one of three iPods. Enter two stories and receive two opportunities, three and get three. Every five photos loaded in a LO photo blog will also earn you one chance. Ten photos would earn two chances, etc.

All stories and photos must have a Lakewood connection or thread.
You must apply to observeradmin@lakewoodobserver.com to start a photo blog.

Drawing will be held January 30, 2007. 2nd Prize will be an iPod 30GB, 3rd will get the Shuffle and 4th place prize will be choice of dinner for 2 at India Garden, The Melt, The WestEnd Tavern, or Around the Corner.

Details announced shortly, ladies and gentlemen, start those fingers!

Assuming that the drawing was indeed held on 1/30/07, who were the winners?

Actual drawing will be Friday and announced in the paper Tuesday.

It has become a little harder to figure with math involved. Story worth 1 entry, editing is 1 entry for every 3 stories edited, 5 photos for one entry.

Announced shortly.
