What to put in Lakewood's infamous Holespital?

The least damaging use of that City property is a public park.

The current plan for a bunch of studio apartments and a parking garage would do actual harm.

Current thought process on the Hole, is nearly as bad as the first.

Common sense would say green space until something worth gambling on comes along.

There seems to be a large outcry to do something with it. I would say 99% of that outcry were pro-"tear down the hospital, they have a great idea."

Which every sane person knows was merely a smoke screen to get the foundation $$$$$$$.

I imagine they want it filled because it reminds everyone of how foolish they were.

as pointed out in November of 2014, get ready for a BIG 3-Card Monte scam played on us as the rubes.

Like selling off the school property to friends, while everyone focuses on Music, Sports, Arts or digital earning.

Sigfried and Roy found out, it is hard to make the floating Lincoln disappear, if everyone stares at it. Bring on a couple growling white tigers, and the floating car vanishes.

Same is Lakewood with School Property, hospitals and foundations.

I never expected to see Lakewood flat-line as hard as it has. Tearing down our schools, you have to be kidding! Are we nuts!

I just read my copy of "L Report Card" for July 2023 -- A Lakewood City Schools Community Newspaper

No evidence in this publication from our elected and appointed public officials that any schools are being closed or that something is even in the planning stages.
