Let me introduce the latest installment in this historic project known as the Lakewood Observer, Volume 19, Issue 9. This issue like all of our issues is a mix of news, events, updates from city hall, schools and non-profits and your friends and neighbors in and around Lakewood. It is a 20+ year love affair with not just the city of Lakewood, but our community, expressed in words and images.

For the past 20-years Lakewoodites have taken the time to share their stories about events they are involved with or know about. All done with the love and respect that only comes from living in the community. Hundreds of thousands of photos, stories and observations have poured in over the past two decades, all of them preserved for all to enjoy.

The Lakewood Observer is highlighting our history including the good times, and the bad, for everyone. All of our files including over 20,000 stories, and 250,000+ images, free to everyone to enjoy, and can be quickly accessed by members with our powerful search features.

Please consider joining with us today, no charge, no emails, no hassles, ever!

Stop by and pick up a printed copy of the Lakewood Observer at over 100 businesses and locations around town. The LO is printed on recycled paper with soybean ink, so it is perfect for recycling, lasagna gardening, making plant cups for seedlings, and yes even wrapping fish and garbage to be recycled.
