LO_18_19 On The Streets And Online - Boooooo!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Lakewood Observer 18_19 brings much of the usual fall news, with Homecoming, School Announcements, Plans for DowntowN Lakewood, even football scores. It also has a lot more, brought to you by your friends, neighbors, non-profits and institutions. In their words, people you know.

We encourage everyone to join and share their stories, images and observations with us. This award winning project has space for everyone’s stories, photos, illustrations and observations.

We also take great pride in announcing the Lakewood Observer Halloween/Fall Decorating Contest rules, and they are easy,
• Anyone can nominate houses in Lakewood, Ohio. Yes you can nominate your own house.
• Anyone can nominate up to 5 houses a day. A house does not need to be entered more than once, so don’t bother stuffing the nominating box, it will not matter.
• We are accepting nominations up until 10.29.2022 Midnight. The sooner a home is nominated the earlier it appears in voting.
• Voting for the top homes will begin 10.30.2022 – 11.05.2022
• Top prize will be $100.00 in fine dining from Lakewood restaurants, and their home on the front page!
Restaurants include - Woodstock #1 BBQ in Northern Ohio two years in a row, India Garden, Northern Ohio's top Indian Food restaurant. Root Cafe, one of Cleveland top 5 coffee/vegan shops, West End Tavern damn good bar food, and others.
• There are more prizes for 2nd through 10th. These homes will also appear in the paper.
• We will offer one person nominating, and two people voting prizes too!
• You can nominate up to 5 different home addresses a day.

So let’s get this party started by going to:

You can also send nominations via email to “production@lakewoodobserver.com"
Thank you, to everyone who gets into decorating their homes.

Hi Jim,

FYI, the PDF link in the post only goes to the first page of the Observer. It's possible my computer is acting up but I tried two different browsers and it just opened the front page.
