One Car Accident Closes Riverside Dr.

Around 10:30pm a call went out for a 1 car accident on Riverside and the car is suspended in the air on a telephone pole.

Seem that the driver a male, lost control and hit the pole.

A tough month for telephone poles in this neighborhood. This is the third in a month.

Great work Lakewood Fire and Police. Thanks to Kufner for the clean-up.

Nothing like handling those twenty degree turns into a lighted intersection at 35 MPH, only professional are capable of driving on Lakewood streets. Lost control, why, speed, DUI, texting, dialing or needs to take remedial driver instructions?

Still not repaired. A piece of the pole is dangling in the air attached to wires. The stub is in the ground. Maybe First Energy could peal a few bucks from paying stadium rights or bribing state officials and do some repairs.
When they do, maybe repair 2 streetlights on Niagara that were reported out 2 weeks ago.
