This pair, with another pair live under Hilliard Bridge which spans the Emerald Canyon and Rocky River.
If you are walking under the bridge during the afternoon, stop and listen and look. You will hear their shrill call, and they are very vocal.
They are all flying non-stop feeding all the little ones that are nearly 3/4 size and learning to fly.
And off to catch another meal for the family.
Come on, admit it. It is pretty cool the fastest animal in the world not only lives in Lakewood, but thrives and breeds in Lakewood!
