Why would you vote based on someone's color, race, creed or sex?

Indeed, Richard!

Why would you choose someone based on their race and sex?

That's worth nothing.

What matters, what has always mattered is that both Kepple and Smith are white. Both the beneficiaries of systemic racism. That's what's in play here.

White Kepple had never run for anything. Had never garnered a single vote in any ward in Lakewood yet she was a 6-0 choice over Laura Rodriguez - Carbone who had run for office, who had received votes.
