LO Holiday Lighting Contest 2021 - Voters Can Win Too!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

PLEASE READ THE RULES! We are getting a lot of single ballots which will be deleted, must pick 5.

ATTENTION PLEASE READ THE RULES

We have received over 4,000 votes, but about 250 will never be counted as they have not followed the rules which are very simple.

You can vote once a day, and MUST VOTE FOR 5 HOMES.
Any less, or any more will see the ballot uncounted.

This year we have over 120 solid entries to vote on!

Thank you to all who sent in addresses of their homes, their neighbor's, or that one house down the street that brings a smile to their face this holiday season. The different styles of decorations highlight the diverse artistic expressions of Lakewoodites, from the very simple to the way over the top.

To everyone who took the time to put up lights and hang a wreath, Thank you. They are all appreciated and enjoyed. Now, let's narrow the field down some more

Take out a piece of paper and a pen. Go to the photo gallery at:
http://www.lakewoodobserver.com/photobl ... ntest-2021

Go through the different photos writing down the number of your 5 favorites. (You must choose 5).

Then go to the Question of the Day right under the photo gallery on the front page and list your answer with a comma between each number.
EXAMPLE: 005, 121, 257, 222, 001. It is that easy!

TO VOTE CLICK ON THIS LINK: http://lakewoodobserver.com/daily-question/2021-12-14

If you are nominated you can vote for yourself, but you have to vote for four other homes too.
Any entry with less than five choices will be ignore, any entry with more than five will also voided.

Three voters who leave emails will be chosen at random for a gift certificate or a GLOW IN THE DARK Lakewood Observer T-Shirt!

VOTING CAN BE DONE from Wednesday 12.15.2021 through 12/20/21 - MIDNIGHT.

You can only vote once a day! (You must vote for 5 different homes)

Votes will be tabulated and narrowed down to the top 20, prior to 12/20/21.

The next day voting to decide the top 10 for prizes begins, stopping at Midnight 12/26/2021

On December 27, 2021 we will post the winners.

Votes are pouring in, thank you.

Also a couple people upset their homes were not included.

Each time we checked, they were not nominated.

ANYONE can nominate a house even their own.

ANYONE can vote, but once a day and you must choose 5 homes.

To see all the homes go to:

NO COST to vote, and we ask for no personal information unless you want to be considered for a prize.

FUN, a great way to relax and see what is out and about in the community.

This is why we do not use addresses, we are encouraging people to go out and find those amazing homes yourself or with the family.

It is all about stupid fun, and recognition for those working to make Lakewood, Ohio a little brighter during the winter.

Thank you everyone, keep those votes coming in!
