Lakefront Plan Eerily Similar to Earlier Proposal

Today’s PeeDee headline discusses a lakefront plan that looks interesting. Even more so when I realized I’d seen something quite similar before.

A local resident, Savannah Farris, a design student at the Cleveland Institute of Art, created a foreword thinking plan to increase access to the lakefront in Lakewood. Here’s a link to her plan, which she first unveiled in 2006:

Can you imagine where we might be right now had someone shown any interest in promoting this plan?
