Last night a call went out for a car into a structure.
The structure was the fire hydrant at the intersection of Franklin and Rockway.
It appears that the driver lost control of the car.
It also appears that the fire hydrant stopped the driver from going any further. The next thing he could have hit was a house.
Lakewood Police and Fire were there within minutes. It appears that no one was hurt.
