Lakewood and Lakewoodites:
Thank you for another amazing year of working together to both produce Lakewood's community paper, and to help us catalog, save, remember, observe and talk about Lakewood's year, the past and the future. This project was started nearly 20 years ago and has blossomed beyond what any of us could have imagined. To be honest most didn't think we would make it past 3 issues, certainly not over 400 issues, nearly 7,000 pages of copy, and over 100,000 photos of Lakewood by many of Lakewood's finest photographers paired up with over 7000 writers and nearly 16,000 members, on our various media outlets.

What a year. With the help of our advertisers we were able to put the words, stories and observations of over 275 Lakewood residents into print. To help illustrate and add to these stories we worked with more than 50 Lakewood photographers and 5 really talented Lakewood artists and illustrators.
