Fire Fighter Paul Jeske (32yr) Lakewood Fire Station 2 and his family assisted Sandusky Fire Department looking for a lost child in Sandusky Bay.
The Jeske Family, Paul, his wife Coti and daughters Bella and Miriska were able to locate the victim and pull him aboard.
I don’t know the details but by all accounts the Jeske’s saved his life.

When Fire Chief Tim Dunphy was asked about it he said, "Yes, f you ask Paul about this be warned, he s very modest and won’t make a big deal about this. He has been involved in theses type of events multiple times throughout his career. He will be retiring in the next few years and will be very difficult to replace. He will retire as one of the greatest “Senior Man” in our history. That is a titled that is revered! Well Done Paul and Family!"
Lakewood Safety Forces are just some of the finest people I have had the chance to meet and work with. I am sure that is true everywhere, but I am kind of biased towards our people.
