One of many problems with getting numbers in this era of COVID-19. They change the color = numbers, growing them.

It won't be productive to use "I told you so" language here, but that's what I'm thinking. The governor missed an opportunity to re-open the state by regions - maybe better stated by zip code clusters, or counties - and here we are. To be positive, I know Mayor George is relatively new to the job and missing her most trusted advisor, but she needs to gather her next most trusted advisors and some health experts, and determine how much she can do appropriately and legally in Lakewood. This week we saw what council would do and it wasn't pretty.

I walk the dogs twice a day. Late at night, there's no one around and there's no need to bother with a mask. In the late afternoon, I walk through Kauffman Park and sometimes up along Detroit and until this week that hasn't been much of a problem either, but the last two days, there have been a lot of people around and no one was wearing masks. Most people on the Deck know I follow news in New York State pretty closely and they have been pushing mask wearing - not from the top down, but creating peer pressure among the citizens.

I hope to start a thread on this later today.

Wouldn't that be a great place to display the MAGA message? At least they'd be wearing masks.
