Where is the “Major Anchor Tenant?”

Inquiring minds want to know!

Since day one of this entire ordeal, talk has been of tenants clamoring for space in the development. Former mayor Summers frequently claimed “national” retailers were interested!

A few minor possibilities were thrown out - a dry cleaners, Mitchell’s Ice Cream (though that's never been confirmed by Mitchell’s.)

Frankly, the development won’t last without a MAJOR Anchor Tenant. But, there doesn’t seem to be one.

I realize that negotiations are usually kept secret until signing, but darn it, can even one council member assure us that SOMEONE is interested enough that they are working on a contract?
