I would love to thank so many people for this issue. Hundreds of Lakewoodites and Lakewood businesses made this issue possible. From the hundreds of homes that decorated for Halloween, to the thousands of Lakewoodites that took the time to vote. I see a good year for the residents of Lakewood ahead.

Thank you to our advertisers especially Melt Bar and Grilled, Woodstock BBQ, India Garden, Rood, The Root, and West End Tavern for the prizes and great dining experiences for the Halloween winners.

peace/love

I do appreciate them! It's funny that Tuesday night I was at a modest little gathering along with two of the women who will be governing Lakewood next year, and this morning I had breakfast at Root Cafe along with one of our community's great intellects.

Later this month I will probably visit 14718 Detroit when the Melt Stigma series is here in Lakewood.

Appreciate everyone who put this issue together, too. I was at another local business this afternoon when the new issue arrived, quite an impressive turnaround time.
