DEJA VU O'Leary Caught in $100M Lie AGAIN! New Public Records Lawsuit..

Post by Brian Essi »

mat be commenced.

17 days later and O'Leary hasn't produced a single public record showing he brought even $1.00 to Lakewood...let alone his bogus $100M claim.

Recall O'Leary's 2015 and 2016 election cycle "$120M Investment in Lakewood" Lie---that was uncovered years later in a costly public records case.

Analysis has begun to start new public interest litigation against Sam O'Leary in time for Lakewood Voters to know the truth.

Here are the unanswered requests and my post from 17 days ago.

The internet was invented before O'Leary was born, but that has not prevented him from making the claim that O'Leary personally "brought over $100 million in investments to our city" Perhaps he should have claimed $100 Billion.

Financial Misrepresentations May Violate the U.S. Securities Laws

I have addressed this issue repeatedly in other posts on the DECK.

A public official has a duty not to make false or misleading financial statements related to the public entity that he serves, especially when that entity sell bonds into the bond markets.

When they do so, they risk violating the U.S. Securities Laws.

But what we've learned about Lakewood...is that the law rarely applies here.
