"As a longtime law director to the cities of Lakewood and Brooklyn, Ohio, Butler leverages his experience as general counsel to those municipalities in his representation of other public entities and private clients seeking to do business with or before governments..."

It doesn't say he's going to leave those jobs.

So the headline should be "Another job for Kevin Butler"?

The whole conceptualization of a law director at the municipal level in Ohio has become very problematic for me.

So let’s get this straight:

Kevin Butler has at least 4 jobs that I’m aware of.

1. Brooklyn Law Director
2. Lakewood law director
3. Associate at the above law firm
4. Principal in Great Lakes Strategies aka Democratic Strategies, with Ed Fitzgerald

My question would be how good is he at any one job - he’s spreading himself pretty thin.

Am I correct that the salary of law director is about the same as mayor?

Is it just me, or is an inherent conflict of interest baked into the cake? In my opinion, Butler has done a terrible job representing the city of Lakewood's best interests but now his loyalties, or lack there of, are out in plain site. Leveraging "his experience as general counsel to those municipalities in his representation of other public entities and private clients seeking to do business with or before governments." Sounds like Mick Mulvaney admitting to the world that the Trump administration leverages foreign aid for personal favor.
