County Dems Meet to “Re-endorse” in Ward 1?

Post by Bridget Conant »

According to information on Facebook, the Lakewood Dem Club told members that the County Democratic Club, Lakewood members, are meeting Oct 5 to vote again on an endorsement for the award 1 race.

As you may recall, candidate Lindsey Grdina was endorsed. Unfortunately, she came in third and the top two vote getters will be on the November ballot.

So now, apparently, they will meet to choose a “new” “endorsed candidate!”

Beyond the spectacular silliness of it all, this begs the question of the influence of endorsements on voting behavior.

Who even cares anymore?

Well all of us over here in Ward 1 are hanging on the edge of our seats waiting for the endorsement.

No kidding.

I think the local Dem endorsement is the kiss of death.
