Thanks to a good samaritan!

Post by Sandra Donnelly »

Today my 90 year old mom fell in the driveway while doing yard work and had difficulty getting up. She was calling for my dad, to no avail, when a passing family on bicycles stopped to assist. I have no idea who they were, but I really appreciate their getting my mom back on her feet. People in Lakewood are the absolute best! Thank you so much to this wonderful good samaritan!

It goes without saying, but still someone should say something:

Of course we should not be surprised, and this should be completely normal, and maybe it is, even, all things considered, but still: That is such great news that people stopped to help your mom. I hope she is OK. It is amazing if all she needed was help getting back on her feet.
