Who is Paying for this Survey?

Post by Bridget Conant »

I received a SurveyMonkey link thru my phone today directing me here:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/J3CSLNX?n=2162334534

This was part of the “survey.”

This is just complete bullshit.

I have spoken with all candidates with the exception of Sam O'Leary and John Litten. Though "people" have reached out for them.

Meghan George much to my dismay is the only candidate to not talk about the hospital debacle. It never came up in our conversation. Every other candidate wanted to talk all about it and that the documents were clearly the public's.. Two backed by an entrenched group wanted to talk about it and making things public so much it made me uncomfortable. I let the candidates direct the conversations some never even touched on Lakewood politics. It is not that she wouldn't talk about it, she was just eager to speak of other things in and around Lakewood.

I am going to go through this one more time. I knew Tom George, very well. Meghan is not Tom. I have had the pleasure of serving on one board with Meghan, LCA. The first year she came in and listened, offering suggestions. Second year we all agreed she should head up the board. Quick leaner, not afraid to tell you how see sees things. Lakewood is truly at a crossroad. One groups desperately wants to develop Lakewood with their friends. One groups wants to make Lakewood best for all, residents and business.

Lakewood you were just played out of $248 million in assets by civic leaders with personal agendas. Let the sun shine in.

Do not let the push polls, the lies, the intimidation from the FitzGerald/Summers/O'Leary crew influence you. Reach out and talk to both. Ask them, are you the council person that helped to keep facts from Lakewood voters for 3.5 years, including filing two false affidavits with the courts, harming the people of Lakewood?

Please BEWARE

If you respond to SurveyMonkey, they can collect your IP address and other identifying information.

For privacy reasons alone, I’d not respond.

Especially in Lakewood, where the Summers regime is known for harassment of citizens with different opinions.

This is a screen shot of the text and link I was sent.
“Jim” supposedly is from Public Policy Polling, then he links to a SurveyMonkey site. Those are two different, competing companies.

Maybe we should call “Jim” and see who he really is?

There is no “Jim.” If you call you get a recorded message about changing the URL for the number and advice to call if you need help “let us know if we can help you in any way with your development,”

This certainly has the traits of a "Drivers Ed" Fitzgerald operation.
As you may recall, his "fake newspaper" also covered its tracks to hide its source.

I'd like to see more questions before I tap in, but if there is even one more like this, it's just Builder b.s.

What the hell, they already know all of us.
I'd be concerned of inadvertently replying to a question that somehow helps them.

But we also uncovered the source, the mailing list, and the lies that were in it.

Just got a phone survey. It didn't have the kind of question quoted above.

"What's the top reason you will voting for Meghan George?"

"She's not Mike Summers or a protege of Mike Summers, like Sam O'Leary."

It was a balanced survey call for the most part. O'Leary always came up first but I suppose someone has to.

So Dan, you got a real person calling on the phone, not a text message with a link?

If so, somebody has some money to throw around. Multiple polls?

Within a few minutes Ellen and I both got the same survey call but with different, real people. The only odd thing is they got our numbers crossed (they differ by one digit). Aside from asking the Sam questions first, it did not seem biased.

Yes, big money is being spent.

Very interesting development.

If you click on the link to the “survey” it now says “this survey is closed.”

Hmmm. Never heard of a legitimate political poll sent out then shut down within less than 18 hours.
