The House Is Sold - Time to Move to Lorain County!

Post by Bill Call »

I noticed that the home owned by a Lakewood Hospital Association board member has finally sold. She will be moving to Lorain County. This is the person who waived a book at a City Council meeting and exclaimed "I have read this book and it says hospitals are obsolete!!"

I often wondered why LHA Board members failed to serve the needs of their community. In this case when the LHA made the decision to destroy the Hospital they WERE serving the needs of their community. It's just that their community is in Lorain County.

Not the only one, either.

It is not so odd at all, that nearly everyone behind it at a high level, either ended up on a board controlling what was Lakewood's funds for the hospital. OR moved to Lorain County and or out of Lakewood after forcing this nightmare down our throats.

Lakewood, you have been played. Wake Up

I'd like to see a list of all the "Build Lakewood" members that have skipped town.

New hospital (you know those obsolete things), new interchange, lower taxes. Why it’s a stampede to Lorain County thanks to your incompetent Cuyahoga County politicians who sold us out.

It probably should be noted, as Richard Baker would say, thanks to the corrupt and or inept Democratic Cuyahoga County politicians...

The last part is a very valid point. List coming soon, along with campaign donations.

Another architect/supporter of close the hospital, it is Lakewood's future has put their home up for sale. Destination west a county.

Funny how they told us how GREAT it was and they are jumping ships like rats.

Also kind of strange, none of them move outside of the new circle for spending "Foundation money" that was there to keep the hospital going.

Probably just another strange coincidence. I am sure they will come in from Vermilion to use Lakewood Family Health Center.

Yep, they’re moving out of Lakewood - a steady parade of the “get rid of the hospital and MOVE forward” crowd.

They must know something the rest of us don’t know?

That MOVE forward was so prophetic!

Health care IS changing. It is changing for the better for those who can afford to live close to it.

No, they just realized, we were right. You can run out of a city 1,600+ good jobs, liquidate $248 million in community owned assets(over 10 years) and give all the money and land in the deal away to Mayor Summers, Ed FitzGerald, Sam O'Leary supporters without destroying the community along with the city.

They’ve divided and destroyed the community just like Trump.

I’m constantly amazed at Summers=Trump, from the fake news and misinformation, to the divisive politics.

Summers and Trump are both today's Republicans.

Democrat County politicians who are elected by Democrats that "behave as Republicans". I don't remember seeing a Democrat County politician that held a Lakewood City Council seat and who voted to close the hospital. Lakewood City Council was given responsibility by Democrat voters to govern, they alone voted to close the hospital. They are accountable and should be held responsible.

Other than the typical Democrat's denial and diversion of accountability, your comment does not say much for the typical Democrat voters, does it?
