Hottest Rumor On The Street...

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Mayor Summers will not back Sam O'Leary who he has backed and groomed for the Mayor's seat since they first met, in the upcoming election. Instead he will chose not to back either candidate. You know taking the high road, instead of potentially saddling the young Council President, and right hand man with his legacy of worst Mayor ever.

While I understand the thought process. Council President O'Leary hands are covered with the blood of the Hospital Debacle.

We shall see, most of these rumors bear fruit.

I doubt this will happen.
Summers ego is too large to "go underground" like Fitzy.

It doesn't matter what the mayor's public stance will be.....the stink of "Team Summers" is all over Sam the Sham.
BTW, Sammy is also in bed with Armond Budish, yet another political pariah.

Sam O’Leary is inextricably linked with the hospital loss, the Summers administration, and the Cuyahoga Democratic machine.

He’s not going to be able to shake them - and why should he? He’s part of them.

Shouldn’t you be proud of your associations, Sammy?

The paralell to the man at 1600 is too close to pass up.

To paraphrase the title of conservative Republican Rick Wilson's book: "Everything Summers Touches Dies."

I try to stay away from the Summers/Trump comparisons. I mean while Trump took over Dad's business and made and lost billions of dollars working with the Saudis and Russians. The Mayor took over the family business of nearly a century and sold it off.

But the person who was telling me this, did immediately go into Trump's "Who, Sam O'Leary? Nope never heard of him."

Simple the worst head of the worst administration in Lakewood's great history.

If indeed Sam is now looking at the underside of a bus - and even if he isn't - "Everything Summers Touches Dies" is apt.
