Post by Jim O'Bryan »

At 4pm Lakewood had RTA's dogs are going through Harding and Lakewood City Hall prior to the Council Meeting over a possible bomb threat.

Stay tuned, information is sketchy. Especially to those in the buildings.

"A bomb sniffing dog just cleared Council Chambers" said Ward 4 Councilman Dan O'Malley.
City Hall has been given the all clear!

Harding given the all clear too.

From our FB Page:
Angie McCaulley:
Today at approximately 4:30 pm, the Lakewood Police Department received a call from the Lakewood, Washington, Police Department. The Washington Department had been contacted by an anonymous caller claiming a bomb threat to a "Lakewood Harding" school. The Lakewood Police Department, in conjunction with the Lakewood Fire Department and our Director of Security, conducted a thorough safety sweep of the building, including the use of bomb-sniffing dogs. The safety sweep uncovered no threat to our students, staff, or building.
