“I love Halloween. I love Thanksgiving. I love Christmas. I love New Year’s.” - Madelaine Petsch

As we roll into Thanksgiving and full tilt holiday party season, I would encourage all, to take a short break for the Thanksgiving Day or the entire weekend from talking politics. At this point, in the 5-6 hours one has with friends and family, you will change no minds. So, relax, take a breath, think back to the good times, and share that with family and friends. Uncle Louie is an idiot, that's why we love him. You father-in-law is the most insensitive..., forget it. Just spend the next 7 days being thankful. For what we have, and what we don't have. For where we are, and where we are not. Who is with us, and who are no longer with us. Take the break, we all deserve it and need it.

Thank you the advertisers, especially Woodstock BBQ, Melt Bar and Grilled, India Garden, WestEnd Tavern, Root, and Namaste. Your generosity and the generosity of all partnering with the LO on so many fun projects is appreciated.

To the staff of volunteers, thank you.

To everyone, and I mean everyone, have a great week of Thanks!

peace/love
