"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear." Martin Luther King, Jr.

One media project, the Lakewood Observer, is built on love for the community and residents, while hoping for the best from our elected officials, and only asking them to be honest, accountable and transparent. Nothing more. Only one looks at Civic leaders spending City Money, and asking them to be accountable for what they get from all of us. From that point on, the Lakewood Observer amplifies the good deeds of all, and works hand in hand with Businesses, Non-Profits, Schools, City Hall and residents. Need proof, just look around, the others divide, we try to heal using the law, and public documents, nothing more.

This latest edition of the Lakewood Observer is a great example. Three of our greatest institutions are all over the front page. Lakewood Fire, Lakewood Police and Lakewood Schools. Three groups we have been happy to work with since day one. Inside more from the schools, the Lakewood Public Library, and many of the non-profits and residents that make up this great city, and have been there with us since day one. In a nice package, powered by some of the finest businesses that are dedicated to getting the word out to all 51,000 residents especially the 7,000+ that have stepped up to share their words, their stories, their ideas and questions.

For 15 years in a never ending act of Love and Respect between all. Well almost all. The City of Lakewood and a few twisted individuals pulled away, to control messages, hide what they do, and work against the residents, businesses and even non-profits in this fine community. Join with us in asking the City of Lakewood to return, open your heart and release the documents that have been kept from the public for more than 4 years. Let's all work together to put it all behind us.

In this issue of the Lakewood Observer we have put googly eyes on the logo, in honor of the best news story of last week.

The Lakewood Observer, it is not rocket surgery, it is about fun, love and respect of this community. GET IT?

peace/love
