As I stole a Van Morrison line, might as well listen to the song.

DOES IT LOOK LIKE I WAS BORN YESTERDAY???

Well, in fact, I was... MANY years ago. :D

When I was a young child, my dear late mom told me that the week of my birthday, October 11th, was the most beautiful week of the year; with all the golden fall leaves, and the dramatic and thunderous evening cloud cover as the sun was setting over those Pennsylvania mountain ranges.

Thanks Jim, for a very cool birthday present. :D

Roger McGuinn also has a great song referencing these October skies, as well as reflecting on the turbulent and yet, oftentimes fun times that marked so many of our young lives. It was titled "Take Me Away", and it's also well worth a listen...

Back to the banjo... :D
