Cerny Shoes Closing

Post by Bret Callentine »

Was sad to get the flyer that the place I buy ALL my shoes is closing after all these years. Apparently retirement is calling.

I wish them well, but I can't say I'm not a little disappointed to see yet another "old school" shop closing down. Great people that take pride in their products and especially their service are getting harder to find, even in Lakewood. They will be missed.

I keep hearing people talk about "Clean", "Safe", and "Fun", but one of the main reasons we moved here was because you could keep it "Local" and "Personal".

Been a rough couple years on Don's personal life.

They have been great for Lakewood, as is the place I bought my last 12 pairs of shoes over the years.

They will be missed.

Horrible news.
It's a great store with wonderful service. It will be greatly missed.
Thanks to Don and the employees for all their efforts over the years....best wishes in the future.

Too bad. Lakewood looses another staple.
