Notice they didn't leave enough time to organize a protest. I am sure the Mayor's friends had plenty of notice of this great event.
John Litten as tour guide is just another smack in the face to the 48.5+% of Lakewood voters who wanted to maintain full health care in our city.

Pardon me for a second. Bill Call is correct.
What would another protest had done, that tearing the scab off with the walk through has already accomplished?
I was talking with young people about protests last week. During Vietnam we had millions in the streets, there were even people 2 that at different times set themselves on fire in front of the Pentagon. It had zero impact. It was not until the release of the facts through the Pentagon Papers, and the discussion that followed were people willing to hold elected officials accountable at the ballot boxes.
No doubt this is why the city still hides documents, destroys documents and avoids court orders to produce documents.
Elected officials if they wish to remain in office must not work to produce those documents or they themselves become complicit in the cover-up.
Brian Essi, Matt Markling, Mark Kindt and other legal scholars have combed through the handful of documents we have seen made public and found enough to start to use the term, "Criminal Enterprise" when describing the liquidation of Lakewood Hospital, and they funneling of funds to private groups.
In New Jersey the Feds came in when then Governor Chris Christie moved 28 orange cones on the George Washington Bridge. They found people guilty of crimes, and Chris Christie was run from office. For some reason the Feds, and the State show no interest in this, which to me is amazing. I mean had Gov. Christie sold the bridge and given the proceeds to some of his supporters in a private fund, they certainly would have at least looked into it. Perhaps, the Cleveland Clinic is too powerful. Perhaps the corruption that was here with Jimmy Dimora still exists. For some reason the FBI and the State are not even willing to look at the documents, or join with the courts in making them public.
So that means it is back to the people of Lakewood demanding that all elected officials be accountable, honest and transparent, and that they constantly work for those goals. People are talking about some of the major players in this nightmare running for office again, that is crazy. It should be made clear to each and every official, if you ate not willing to be honest, accountable and transparent, they go back to the private sector we have no need for you here.
Protests are not needed, a serious accounting is.
IF they are not with the people of Lakewood in honesty, accountability and transparency then run them from public office.
VOTE THEM OUT!
