Trickeration

In following an issue in Florida, I ran across a word that feels perfect to describe the administration's actions here in Lakewood: "Trickeration".

The meaning is, quite simply, trickery, but the longer version of the word just feels right applied to the local situation.

The context, in short, is an initiative in Florida to ban dog racing. The advocates are animal rights people who lie repeatedly about alleged abuse, etc.

Ruling to keep the initiative off the November ballot, a judge said these activists had engaged in "trickeration." The ruling is being appealed.
