As I looked at how underwhelming the development is, considering it has cost the Lakewood Residents $178,000,000, our largest employer and our tax base. And, think back to some of the major players on the Board of Three Arches from years ago how they dreamed (actually they were working on it) to have a big foundation like the Cleveland Foundation that had offices downtown in a 40 story building managing billions of dollars in money they were given on pet projects.
Wouldn't the icing on the cake be if all of this from day one, was to get them office space in DowntowN while proving in some perverse way they had built "DowntowN?"

First we pay the Cleveland Clinic to leave their contract early. $78,000,000. (Mayor Summers asked them to leave in RFP)
LHF with the help of many members now on new board, raise millions to "Save" Lakewood Hospital between 2008-2015. (They now control those millions)
They build a special little mall in the center of the "DowntowN" they helped to create to "keep Lakewood Hospital here."
They create the multi-use strip mall they have dreamed of since "West End Debacle"
They fail at every attempt to rebuild "DowntowN" with icing on the cake "We Buy Gold" opening across from new multi-use strip mall.
They has coffee, ice cream, hair salon, dry cleaners and no announced people for the office space.
Even space for Healthy Lakewood, to to hold more fundraising events for themselves.
"One Lakewood" trademarked by Mayor Ed FitzGerald, and now city website address, name of the mall.
What if they tricked Lakewood into building their offices too? What if that is in some of the documents they refuse to produce?
Just remember where you read it first. The same place that said "City Hall is closing Lakewood Hospital" December 2014(we were called liars), The same place that described exactly what was going to happen to the Foundation money (we were called liars). The same place that told you Residents would lose $178 million in this deal (Mayor Summers, "Liars there numbers are wrong). The same place that said "They want to build a Rec Center" and then uncovered the secret plans for the rec-center from 2010(Called liar by the players). And the same place that has fought for 3 years to uncover the rest of the documents they refuse to produce. (Residents lied to and told all documents are out, while the fight goes on in court.)
