Throw mud, take things out of context, on things proven out of ones control and cut off any discussion for FEAR they might be proven wrong.

Cindy Marx, you used to be such a good person.

Why this? Why Gutter Politics?

Here is what they are afraid to let be posted...

Statement by Dennis Kucinich
April 18, 2018

Ted Strickland's remarks are reprehensible in their distortions and outright lies. He has obviously been enlisted into a vicious smear campaign launched by a desperate Richard Cordray whose only clear, unequivocal, and consistent position is to protect deadly assault weapons on behalf of the National Rifle Association.

The facts are these: I gave a speech at a peace conference in the United Kingdom last year in which I called for all nations involved in the Syrian conflict to end the violence that has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children and forced millions to flee for their lives. The event was hosted and attended by peace leaders from around the world.

In that speech, I called for an end to hostilities, an end to violence, an end to political and military terrorism.

To portray my position and my actions as anything else wreaks of intellectual, moral, and political dishonesty of the most despicable kind. It reveals a desperation that has abandoned truth and decency. And it is a blatantly crass attempt by Cordray to try to rescue his failing campaign by resorting to the darkest, most horrific themes imaginable. And, it is cowardly.

Throughout my life and during my years in Congress, I have been the leading voice to end wars and restore peace. Stop the murder of innocents, whether calculated or incidental, and hold accountable those who have been responsible for death, destruction, and despair.

And I have campaigned just as passionately to get weapons of war and mass murder outlawed in our cities and in our state. My opponent, who is trying to smear me with death and destruction in foreign lands has no problem support the death and destruction caused by assault weapons here in our schools, our churches, our streets and our public places.

The killing of men, women and children -- anywhere for any reason and anyone's hands -- is an inexcusable crime against all of humanity. And when those men and women and children die at the hands of a murderer armed with an assault weapon that is legal and available because of the actions of Richard Cordray and his NRA sponsors and colleagues, that crime is even more inexcusable because it was preventable.

It's unfortunate that Ted Strickland has chosen to get down in the mud with Richard Cordray. That says a lot about both of them.

I no longer see the post on their page. Was it removed?

I would hope so!

Cindy Marx, you deserve to be called out in this. It’s slimy and low class.

No wonder Dems are losing support. Bunch of back-biting turds.

Marx is willing to say or do anything to win over the Democratic Machine....she so desperately wants them to put her back on City Council.
It's not surprisising to see Karolyn Isenhart's name on that post.
Isenhart, the former President of the Lakewood Democratic Club, has been Cindy's sidekick in previous shenanigans -- most notably the attempted "purge" of Tristan Rader and others from the Lakewood Democratic Club a couple years ago.

In another move, Marx is currently attempting to have Mike Skindell removed from the Cuyahoga County Democratic Executive Committee.

She had such a great way about here when she started, then "they" got to her. No excuse but like Trump, they break everything they touch.

Here is a speech from the guy she is saying sides with people that gas their own. One of the nicest, most honest politicians, that has ever been elected and reelected and reelected to office. Every time choosing Lakewood for his Congressional Office.

Everyone should listen to this. This is Dennis Kucinich, Cindy and the Lakewood Dems dream of a person this loving, and honest.

Gutter politics make me sick.

Thank God Marx was dumped last fall. Now she shows her true colors by slamming Kucinich, a patriot far more respectable than she will ever be. Shame on you Cindy!

Marx, Summers, O'Leary, Bullock, Juris, Anderson, Madigan etc...not the democrats I would EVER be proud of. I don't believe they are democrats at all in fact...no real democrat would ever fight to privatize a loved public institution like they ALL did, disgusting. In fact, I can't imagine anyone doing that. That is unAmerican, immoral and unethical.

When will Lakewood finally dump these shameful DINOs?

To a great extent the Mayor and Tom Bullock's hate and intimidation campaign is all about the Hospital.

Why was the destruction of Lakewood Hospital important to so many people in Cuyahoga County government?

Why was it so important to transfer 1,500 high paying jobs to Lorain County?

Why are politicians from Cleveland supporting Tom Bullock? Why are those same politicians say closing Lakewood Hospital was a great thing? If the Clinic announced the closure of Lutheran Hospital would these same politicians tell everyone it is a wonderful thing?

Lakewood exchanged a Hospital and tens of millions in cash and investments for a condominium project that will only be built if the City donates $13 million or so to the developer. Are we supposed to think that is a brilliant economic strategy?

Bill

Mayor Summer's campaign of hate and intimidation was all about the Hospital and on behalf of his friends who now control the foundations and land. Names that specialize in win at all costs, destroy at all costs. Names we are all familiar with. Came on the Deck blew it up with hate, went elsewhere to say how hateful the Deck was, all while getting benefits and pay from the Summers Administration. You see their names on everything that is on the receiving end of this debacle.

Bullock is nothing but "what is in it for me" POLITICIAN. Had saved Lakewood Hospital written checks, he would have shilled for them. He sits, looks and calculates what thing can move him an inch up the ladder. Nothing more. ZERO SOUL. How else does one introduce a Pit Bull Ban, to please a small group with checkbooks, then show up at the party when it was repealed to take credit for that?

He is the worst form of politician, attacking good people, smart people with backbones that have always fought for Lakewoodites like Kucinich and Skindell? Real democrats with real positions, and real history. Sadly he has dragged a good person down into the gutter with him. During the last election Cindy Marx showed glimpses of the old Cindy. Returning checks from stalkers and bullies. Taking a step back and looking at ways to bring the community together. But with Bullock on his knees to the powerful, it would appear that Cindy is following as the fluffer.

Years ago Michael Moore did a bit on TV where he took "The Pimp of the Year" to Congress, where he filmed him talking to Congress, and they sucked it up. How to sell people. Then he would end it with the same chant each time, "Take off your low heels and put on your hoe heels." Suddenly it occurred to them how lost they were, and ran.

They destroy everything they touch. Cities, Communities, Projects, Buildings and Good People.

Lakewood's new legacy, our new brand.

1. Fake Democrats. Destroy a public asset, and destroy the Democratic brand as collateral damage. A win for the corporatists.
2. There is always the angle that the dark room gang is in this for personal gain. Follow the money.
3. As to the importance to leaders in Cuyahoga County government, is there any activity and smoke on the consolidated city county government thing pushed for years by PD Brent Larkin and others? A weak Lakewood removes a barrier...

You were not here in the early days. One of the things that brought all of us together was a fight against regionalization that was being pushed. Ed FitzGerald was a regionalist, Mayor Summers a Regionalist, Other councilmen Brian Powers, Shawn Juris were regionalists. Bullock never really a Lakewoodite, was for anything to move him up a ladder. It was just 12 months after getting elected to council, Tom was ready to run for office that would take him out of Lakewood. Then there was the county reform, just another way to slide regionalism into the area. Of course many of the Mayor's supporters are regionalist, and their impact can be seen with the closure of the hospital and all known funds being used outside of Lakewood though at least 75% were raised to keep the hospital solvent, and healthcare here in Lakewood.

Another reason myself, Dan Slife, Ken Warren, Nadhal and others read and quoted "Slaughter of Cities" to understand how communities are destroyed, and redeveloped not ever so it benefits the communities but always the developer and a few friends and politicians. One of the things underlined in "Slaughter of Cities" is that is done with the help of innocent good meaning people who are mislead, lied to, and then stay quiet through intimidation, or feeling used and now it is hopeless. Meanwhile the player try to continually push their plans to the point of no return, as witnessed in this debacle. "Well if we stop now, there will be nothing there!" Which paralyzes council members or civic leaders that dare to say, "Wait let's think about this." When they do, all it takes is a mayor or a councilman, or resident to say, "If you screw this up it will be on you." and they fall into line like mindless sheep again and again and again.

Larkin was not just a regionalist, but foretold the end of Lakewood for decades. Now we are on the edge of a very weak Lakewood, no barriers and failures at every level. Economy, safety, values, schools, and business base. It is a dream come true for those that slaughter cities to make a profit on the uptick.

Ken Warren talked of a map where Lakewood was referred to as West Cleveland, then they ran him out of the Library and the City. Others that dare to think or question a small group of failed amateurs planners, are attacked, marginalized, intimidated or sued to shut everyone up. And always the threat of what if nothing...

Lakewood a community that had a brand on conversation, intelligence, openness, the arts, and working together now divided into so many different groups, those that wish to cash him can do it with nearly zero resistance. Ken used to say, "Why do you worry they fail at everything they do." and I would always answer, "That is why I worry."
