In today's Toledo Blade...

"Mayor’s courts lack credibility already because they exist mainly to generate municipal revenue from unsuspecting motorists traveling too fast through their municipality. The motorists on Interstate 71, which bisects Middleburg Heights, undoubtedly are major contributors to the court’s coffers"

Why would a guy who claims to be a successful attorney, a development consultant employed by Carnegie Management, owner of a chain of community newspapers, and owner of a consulting group called “Democratic Strategies” (formerly Great Lakes Strategies) be so hard up he has to take a part-time job as a magistrate in a second rate Mayors Court.
