A FAIRY DOLL: SENSORY FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE
Sunday, March 18 4:00 PM
Beck Center for the Arts - Main Stage
Tickets for this event are free.
Beck Center is dedicated to increasing access and inclusion opportunities for individuals who are affected by Autism
Spectrum Disorder as well as other sensory, social, cognitive, and developmental disabilities. We welcome these
individuals to attend this adapted performance with their families, group homes, or other groups to which they belong.
This is a chance to be who they are and experience live ballet in a manner that suits them best.
While the production is the ballet that will be presented during all performances, the 4:00 pm show will have special
adjustments made to create a welcoming and supportive audience environment.
About The Fairy Doll: Die Puppenfee, better known as The Fairy Doll was first staged in Russia in 1897. This one act

as music by Tchaikovski, Gottschalk, Liadov and Drigo and additional choreography by Melanie Szucs, Associate Director
of Dance Education. The production will feature students from Beck’s dance department. Also included on the program
will be excerpts from Act 1 of Paquita performed by Beck Center Dance Workshop members.
Tickets for this performance are free for all attendees. Tickets may be acquired by calling Beck Center for the Arts
