I recall that then-council president Brian Powers also put something like that on the subject in writing and it may have been more strongly worded.

Brian,

Tom Bullock fights for the underserved. He’s a man of the people. His latest campaign literature even says so:

“For ten years, I have served my community on Lakewood City Council. Voters have elected me four times, and I have a proven record of getting things done while working collaboratively with others.

I'll be a strong voice in Columbus who will fight for you every day. I will work to:
Put the needs of working families first;
Bring back jobs and opportunities to Ohio;
Fight against steep state cuts to our cities and schools;
Stand up for the rights of all, especially vulnerable groups, seniors, and disabled Ohioans. “

I’m a democrat. Democrats stand up for Medicare and Medicaid. In 2017, the Democratic Party spent the entire year fighting for health care. In contrast, Tom Bullock spent all of 2017 trying to close a hospital for Lakewood’s most vulnerable citizens.

I’d hope that the new members of council ask for a third party investigation in Tom Bullocks role in closing Lakewood Hospital.

Let's keep in mind that Mr. Eadeh works for the largest health provider in the world--The United States Veterans Administration.

Let me amplify his comments.

Mr. Bullock fought to close the hospital not just in 2017, but for years prior to that. His participation in the loss of the hospital included funding of BuildLakewood to ensure the hospital remained closed. He also participated in a variety of open meetings law violations that were litigated in the local courts.

His actions speak louder than his words.

This is what Bullock stands for.

This is what he owns now.

I cast my vote to say that this is the most "Orwellian" headline that I have ever seen in a local political campaign!

Black is White.

Peace is War.

From the internet time capsule, two articles from 2010:

From Scene:
"Never Mind Tom Bullock's Embellished Claims"
https://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-he ... hed-claims
April 14, 2010

From Sun News:
"Two on Lakewood City Council are seeking state representative seat"
http://www.cleveland.com/sunpostherald/ ... cil_a.html
April 30, 2010

It's old news, water under the bridge, etc., etc., except the issue goes to Tom Bullock's character.
